According to a survey from 2019, the most important news source in Sweden was the free online newspaper, at respectively ** percent for the entire population in the Scandinavian country and ** percent for the adolescents. However, social media was the second most used platform for the young generation, while the entire population preferred TV. With both groups of respondents printed newspapers were the least used source media during this period.
