Current drinking is defined "as having consumed at least one alcohol drink in the past 30 days". Binge drinking is defined "as having consumed four or more alcohol drinks on one occasion at least one in the past 30 days."

Roughly four percent of pregnant women who had attended some level of college reported to have engaged in binge drinking during this time period.
