Almost two thirds of Mexicans believed that climate change generally receives less attention than it should. On a survey conducted in Mexico in June 2019, 63.2 percent of respondents said climate change is given less importance than it should. In contrast, 13 percent of the adults surveyed claimed climate change is given more importance than it deserves.
