The summer cherry season starts in late May and ends in August in Hong Kong. During that period, the main cherry exporters to Hong Kong are the northern hemisphere countries such as the United States, Turkey, and Spain. In May of 2018, Hong Kong imported approximately tons of fresh cherries from the U.S., however, the imports barely reached **** tons in May of 2019.
