Masturbation: a national pastime

According to the most recent surveys, in Spain, almost everybody masturbates. The results show that ** percent of Spanish men and ** percent of women masturbated in 2023. Among Spaniards aged between 27 and 41, ** percent reported masturbating two to three times a week. Meanwhile, ** percent of respondents aged between 18 and 26 stated they self-stimulated once per week. In terms of duration, approximately ** percent of respondents of both genders reported that their sessions lasted between five and ten minutes.

Sex toy trends in Spain

Sex toys are commonly used in Spain, with a share of ** percent of the women and ** percent of the men that stated that they had used self-pleasure devices in 2021. Among the respondents who reported use of sex toys, ** percent of them cited the achievement of more intense orgasms as the main reason. Some ** percent of them also reported doing it to break the routine.
