FasTAG is a reloadable tag which allows the vehicles to pass through the toll plazas without stopping, hence saving time. The vehicles do not need to stop for cash transactions and the charges for the toll are deducted from the prepaid account linked electronically to the toll.
The tag works with radio frequency identification (RFD) which is affixed on the windscreen of the vehicles once the account is active.
