During the period under review, the number of both vegetarians and vegans in the Netherlands . According to survey results, back in 2022 percent of respondents identified as vegan, while the following year *** percent did so. By 2024 however, this figure had * percent. The same trend affected the number of vegetarians in the Netherlands: as of 2024, *** percent of respondents said to be vegetarian, * than the previous year.
