The estimated 2023 revenues for WhatsApp Business were derived using historical data and growth trends from regular WhatsApp revenues A top-down approach was applied to allocate global revenues across 151 countries, excluding China. For the distribution of revenues, factors considered included GDP, digital adoption index, and number of downloads. Following this, the number of users was calculated using the number of app download, population and mobile penetration. Subsequently, the average revenue per user (ARPU) was determined.
