President Donald Trump鈥檚 tough stance on Iran could lead to conflict with the Middle Eastern country, according to a new poll conducted by . More than 1,500 people were surveyed from January 8 to 13, 2020. In total, most Americans agreed that Trump鈥檚 interaction with Iran has caused a chance of conflict, but it changes dramatically when broken down by party. An overwhelming majority of Democrats鈥81 percent鈥攕aid there was a heightened risk, while many fewer Republicans鈥26 percent鈥攕aid there was an increased possibility of war.
