To President Donald Trump鈥檚 dismay, his favorite news network reported that a majority of Americans believe he abused his power as president. A new, released December 15, shows 53 percent think Trump misused his influence as president, 48 percent believe he obstructed Congress, and 45 percent claim the former New York real estate tycoon committed bribery.
Trump took to his favorite social media platform to relay his displeasure with the survey. 鈥淭he @foxnewPolls, always inaccurate, are heavily weighted toward Dems. So ridiculous - same thing happened in 2016. They got it all wrong. Get a new pollster!鈥 December 15.
Trump is accused of withholding nearly $400 million of military aid from Ukraine. He allegedly tried to bribe Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into investigating former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter in return for the necessary aid and a meeting with Trump. The president has maintained his July 25 phone call with Zelensky was 鈥減erfect鈥 and that efforts to have him impeached are a 鈥渉oax.鈥 Biden is a top Democratic presidential hopeful, and could potentially be threat to Trump in the 2020 election.
