Trump regularly accuses the media of spewing “fake news” and regularly calls out publications who don’t paint him in a favorable light. He’s coined nicknames for various media outlets, as noted in 2017, referring to the New York Times as “failing” and saying the Wall Street Journal is “dying.” He said CNN stands for the “Clinton News Network,” and also called it FNN, “Fake News Network.”
