From small office plants to indoor jungles, houseplants’ popularity has found new wind in recent years. Houseplants are usually grown in pots indoors and are used for decorative purposes. When it comes to edible houseplants, the plant category of choice is often herbs. According to a survey conducted in 2021, only 11.3 percent of respondents claimed they did not own a plant, while 24.7 percent of respondents stated they owned two to five houseplants.
