Not only has this led to an increase in home improvement projects, but also to a measurable growth of the garden equipment and plants market. In 2025, the combined sales of building materials and garden equipment grew by roughly 15 percent compared to five years before, at more than 482 billion U.S. dollars. Similarly, that same year the revenue of the lawn and garden industry increased, reaching more than 137 billion U.S. dollars.
