In April 2025, the United States announced new import tariffs on over one hundred countries around the globe. For some Middle Eastern and North African countries, the initially introduced tariffs were higher than the adjusted rates, that were introduced a few days later. Now, all countries in the Middle East and North African region are set on the minimum 10 percent baseline tariffs.
