Digital health in China - statistics & facts
China’s digital health market has expanded rapidly, driven by rising demand for accessible care and a strong consumer focus on prevention and self-management. User adoption has reached significant scale, with digital treatment and care alone expected to surpass 330 million users by 2030, while digital fitness and well-being tools already engage well over 200 million users in the mid-term forecast. At the same time, online medical services have become mainstream: by mid-2025, over 390 million people in China had used such services, representing about 35 percent of internet users. This scale, combined with high digital adoption, indicates a structural shift toward digitally mediated healthcare access.Â
