Mexico is among the main exporters of medical technology in the world. Within the country, the medical technology market has been constantly growing and is forecast to continue expanding in the coming years. From the two main categories, medical devices like thermometers and pacemakers account by far for a larger revenue share than in vitro diagnostics like pregnancy tests and genetic testing.
