The innovation nation
The first part this study provides an in depth analysis of the key success factors and drivers of Israel as an innovative nation and puts the country into a broader perspective using various country rankings. These rankings are grouped into five categories:

Investment & funding
The following chapter deals with the investment and funding of the Israeli tech ecosystem, including breakdowns by sector and tech cluster. It also includes information on the growing number of highly funded startups including the rising number of unicorns founded in Israel.

Innovation ecosystem
Much of the country's success can be attributed to its innovation ecosystem, which gets a closer look in the third chapter of the report. This includes information on the open innovation approach and the role of multinational corporations as drivers of innovation. Tel Aviv, by some referred to as Silicon Wadi, is highlighted here as Israel's major innovation cluster.
