Teenagers are the part of the population aged 13 to 19 years old. This age represents a very special phase of life in which a person usually develops many of the characteristics that will shape their adult life.
The report presents data on teenagers in Italy. After a demographic overview, it focuses on three major societal topics: education, criminality, and poverty. Thereafter, the fifth chapter provides data on free time activities and friends of Italy's adolescents. It shows, among others, information of social engagement, church attendance, and political participation. Finally, the last chapter illustrates the results of different surveys on fears, trust, future expectations, and perceptions of Italian teenagers.
