Around ** percent of South Koreans aged between 18 and 24 years stated that they trusted news they saw on social media according to a survey conducted in early 2021. This age group reported the largest share of trust in news on social media, followed by a quarter of 45 to 54 year old respondents. Overall, around ** percent of South Koreans considered the news on social media to be trustworthy in 2021.
