Among the products in information security with the highest planned spending, network security had the highest-grossing planned purchase amount. That year, the most sought-after information security services were maintenance services of products and services already in place, rather than monitoring or consulting services.

What has been done at companies to prevent cyberattacks?

Aside from purchasing information security products and services, conducting security training among employees was a common measure against cybersecurity attacks, as almost one in five companies stated to have taken that action. According to the same survey, more than of companies that are members of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) had used cybersecurity inspection services to evaluate the risk at their company.
