Raw milk is used for various purposes, e.g., delivery to milk collection centers and the dairy product industry, direct sales, production of dairy products on farms, animal feeding after milking, and home consumption.
The figures were obtained from the Animal Production Survey in Agricultural Holdings, which was applied to more than 40 thousand agricultural holdings selected by TurkStat by sampling.
