The statistic displays the results of a survey concerning the share of youth gaming (nearly) every day in the Netherlands in 2017, by gender. The survey results suggest that the share of male youths in both primary and secondary level education who were gaming (nearly) daily in the Netherlands exceeded the share of female youths who did so by thirty percent. The results indicate that in 2017, close to half of male youths in primary school played games daily or nearly every day, whereas approximately ** percent of female youths surveyed did so in the same year.
