Brazil: consumer choices on household cleaning 2019, by gender
According to the international cleaning study of 2019, manual tools and chemical cleaning agents were the main products used to clean the households among respondents in Brazil. Nevertheless, the surveyed showed interesting differences between the genders. For instance, Brazilian women surveyed were more prone to use household remedies such as baking powder, vinegar, or lemon. On the other hand, Brazilian men registered a higher share of respondents who used some help from family members, room mates, or the partner when cleaning their houses. That same year, men surveyed in the South American country were also more likely to hire a cleaning person to do that kind of household chores.
