    The total demand for natural gas energy in the Middle East is currently** quadrillion British thermal units and will grow to ** quadrillion British thermal units by 2040. Of that, the demanded volume of power generated by natural gas in the Middle East in 2017 was 731 terawatt hours per year and will grow to almost terawatt hours per year by 2035.
