The source defines inventory volume as the quantity of products produced or received by the surveyed company which are actually stored in the company's warehouses and rental warehouses which the company mainly uses. Companies surveyed were business establishments with 5 or more regular employees.
Figures have been rounded. Data prior to 2016 come from previous reports.
