The worldwide annual revenues from ordinary operations of the Italian energy company ERG increased from 944 million euros in 2015 to 1,022 million euros in 2019.
ERG is the leading operator in the generation of energy from wind power in Italy.
 ERG in Italy 
The
electricity sales volume of ERG in Italy amounted to 11,625 gigawatt hours in 2018 . This was an increase compared to 2017, when the sales volume amounted to 7,697 gigawatt hours of electricity.
Apulia was the Italian region where ERG installed most of its power wind capacity as well as the region with the
highest level of electricity generated from ERG wind plants.
 
Wind leading renewable source in 2018 
In 2018,
wind – with a share of 44 percent – was the leading source in terms of new installed capacity coming from renewables. Photovoltaics, hydropower, and biomass represented 38 percent, 12 percent and six percent of the total new installed renewable capacity, respectively.
