The technique of conjugal artificial insemination represents a great help for couples who have difficulties in having a child. However, in 2022 only **** percent of the treatments initiated in Italy resulted in successful pregnancies. This statistic shows differences in this figure among age groups of the women who undertook the treatments. According to the data, the percentage of pregnancies coming from artificial procreation treatments out of all the treatments initiated was higher among women aged 34 years and younger, while it decreased considerably with the increase in age.
