This statistic presents the results of a survey regarding P2P digital payment methods used to pay or transfer money in Italy from 2015 to 2019. Particularly, respondents were asked whether they would know which digital payment method to use in case they needed to transfer money to settle their debts. According to data, the share of people aware of digital peer-to-peer payment solutions increased during the period under observation. As of February 2019, approximately two in three respondents (** percent) declared that they knew methods and/or platforms where it was possible to easily transfer money online.
