Supplementary notes
Data is based on the Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community (NACE Rev.2), as well as the United Nations鈥 International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC Rev. 2).
The enterprises shown in this statistic can be classified under the economic activity code C13. The leading textile manufacturer #9 was omitted from this statistic as the sales and label were omitted by the source.
The source adds the following definition: 'Production-based sales include the sale of goods manufactured by the company or by outsourcing, as well as revenues from outsourced manufacturing. As is the case with net sales, companies should provide the net amount of production-based sales, which means all sales taxes, funds, VAT and Special Consumption Tax should be excluded. Sales amount should not include sales returns and allowances. Discounts and allowances that are reflected in other accounts than the 鈥淪ales Allowances鈥 should also be deducted. The sale of goods purchased for resale should not be included in the production-based sales'
