This statistic depicts the results of the Eurobarometer survey carried out in Italy as of 2019. During the survey, respondents were asked to indicate how important they believe it is that the Italian government sets targets in order to increase the amount of renewable energy used, e.g. wind or solar power, by 2030. As of the survey period, ** percent of the interviewed Italians claimed it is very important for that the Italian government to set targets in order to facilitate the transition to cleaner sources of energy. Conversely, **** percent of respondents stated that it is not very important to increase the amount of renewable energy used in Italy.
