Apestaartjaren is a survey that is published every two years. For the version of 2018, 12 primary schools in Flanders were contacted to fill in the online survey.
These questions were phrased by the source as follows: "Which devices do you have? (''Welke toestellen worden enkel door jou gebruikt?")
The 2018 edition smartphones were not taken into account, but put together with mobile phones.
