 Five-year average yields 

  In terms of total production per hectare, the Innovator potato was not just the best choice for potato producers in 2019, it had also the best average yield over the last five years. Between 2014 and 2019, a hectare of Innovator potatoes had an average yield of nearly * kilos annually. By comparison, a similar-sized field of Fontane potatoes would produce an average of * kilos.

Potato production forecast

  Between 2010 and 2018, the production of potatoes in the Netherlands amounted to roughly to kilotons per year. In 2019, the potato harvest is estimated to be around kilotons.
