In 2021, the production of all four types of vehicles experienced a considerable increase; specifically, truck production rose by around ** percent compared to a year earlier. However, as of 2021, the total vehicle production in Brazil remained one of the lowest figures recorded in the last decade. Even though the Brazilian automotive market has been recovering from the preceding dip in production due to the coronavirus pandemic, the total manufacturing level in 2021 still was not enough to reach pre-COVID figures.
