* This question was phrased by the source as follows: "De gemeente Amsterdam en de NS maakten afgelopen week bekend dat ze genderneutrale taal gaan gebruiken om mensen die zich man noch vrouw voelen niet buiten te sluiten. De woorden ‘dames en heren’ worden bijvoorbeeld vervangen door ‘inwoners’ of ‘mensen’ en ‘vaders en moeders’ wordt vervangen door ‘ouders’. Vindt u het een goede of een slechte zaak dat instanties genderneutraal taalgebruik invoeren?" (English: the municipality of Amsterdam and the National Railways (NS) announced last week that they will be using gender neutral vocabulary in the future to bit exclude people who do not feel either male or female. Words like 'ladies and gentlemen' for example are replaced by 'people' or 'inhabitants' and 'fathers and mothers' by 'parents'. Do you think it is a good or bad thing that institutions are implementing gender neutral vocabulary?)
