The monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) for pet products in Italy, where the year 2015 equals 100, witnessed a constant growth between January 2022 and August 2023. After that, as of December 2025, it kept generally stable with some minor fluctuations. In January 2022, the monthly CPI was 100.8  and in January 2024 it reached the peak of 120.4 . As of December 2025 the monthly CPI dropped to 119.6 points.
Inflation is measured through the construction of the consumer price index, that measures changes in prices of a ‘basket’ of goods and services, which is representative of households consumer expenditure in a specific year.
