Trend: organic meat

In Norway, it is noticeable that especially the production volume of organic meat grew in past years. It peaked in 2018, reaching approximately *** thousand metric tons of produced meat. Organic meat production means that the farmed animals had free access to pastures and were only fed organic feed during their lives. In addition, they did not get antibiotics, hormones and genetically modified feed.
