Several of the world’s leading paints and coatings companies are from the United States. This includes Sherwin-Williams, which operates more than paint stores in the U.S., as well as nearly *** paint stores in other countries worldwide. Based on revenue in 2018, Sherwin-Williams was the world’s largest paint and coatings company. PPG Industries is also a U.S.-based paint and coatings company and was ranked the second largest company in this industry in 2018, with a revenue of more than ** billion U.S. dollars. In fifth, sixth, and seventh place, respectively in this ranking, are also U.S. companies RPM International Inc, Axalta, and Diamond Paints.
