Zara is the Spanish clothing retailer Inditex Group’s flagship brand. Of the numerous fashion companies that belong to Inditex, Zara has the highest store numbers on a global scale. As of 2026, Spain, France, and Italy were the European countries with the highest number of Zara stores, as shown in this statistic. 

Zara outside Europe 

Besides Europe, Zara has a solid presence in the Middle East and Africa as well. The number of Zara stores in countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar has varied over the displayed time frame, with a slight decline in Saudi Arabia by 2026. In addition to Zara, Inditex Group’s other brands continue adding to their store locations in the EMEA region.

Zara is by far Inditex’s most successful brand. In the financial year 2024, Zara and Zara Home accounted for over ** percent of the group's sales share worldwide. Bershka came in second place, yet contributed about percent of Zara’s sales share.
