Camping grounds refer to sleeping areas for tourists including tents, caravans, campers, tent cabins, or hiking cabins. The source indicated that to qualify as a camping site, at least four sleeping areas must be available.

Cottage areas refer to sites such as summer cabins, mobile homes, (holiday) bungalows or (holiday) apartments, which are available for rent by the manager of the complex. This includes apartments for rent, as part of a larger building, however it excludes apartments for rent if they offer hotel services.

Group accommodation refers to lodging with overnight provision for groups (without family ties), with rooms that have at least one sleeping area, halls, cabins, apartments, and/or tents which the guests have the option tot share with strangers. This includes camping farms, children's holiday homes, camp homes, scouting homes, nature bungalows, tent camps, overnight accommodation belonging to a water sports center or riding school.
