The source adds: "The monthly wage is the agreed gross salary, excluding bonuses/allowances, but including the value according to tax of non-monetary remuneration liable to tax and paid overtime. The private tax benefits of a company car are not included. There is a difference between monthly wage including paid overtime and excluding paid overtime. The numbers displayed here are the monthly wages including overtime. The average monthly wage in a year is determined by dividing the yearly wage sum by 12 times the average number of jobs in that year."
