This statistic illustrates the distribution of responses to a survey question posed in the United Kingdom in 2015 regarding what improvements could be made to long distance train services to encourage more frequent use amongst respondents who regularly make long distance trips. Cheaper train fare was clearly the most prevalent potential improvement. Seven percent of those surveyed stated that faster journey times would encourage them to use long distance rail services more often.
