In 2008, 2013 and 2018, no LWR surveys were conducted.
In these years the data has come from the Income and Consumption Survey (EVS), in the other years from the current national account (LWR). The data is not easily comparable.
According to the source, numbers refer to private households, excluding households of self-employed persons and farmers and excluding households with a monthly net income of 18,000 euros and more. Generally not included in the survey are persons without permanent residence (homeless) and persons in collective accommodation and institutions".
On EVS the source states: "Private households at the main residence, with a monthly income of less than 18,000 euros. Overall people without permanent residence (homeless) and people in collective homes and institutions are not included in the survey."
The cutoff date is January 1 of each year.
