Note that in 2015 a link was made between the data of the Subdirección General de Conocimiento and Estudios TurÃsticos, the entity in charge of the Statistics of Border Tourist Movements (FRONTUR) until September 30, 2015 and the Instituto Nacional de EstadÃstica (INE Spanish Statistical Office) who became responsible for the same data from October 1st, 2015. The data since 2015 is therefore provided by the INE and earlier data published by the Subdirección General de Conocimiento and Estudios TurÃsticos.
