The survey is based on the German-speaking population aged 14 years and older, in private households at the place of main residence in Germany.
Information on basic sample:
2013: 8,702 respondents, projected base of 70.33 million people
2014: 8,156 respondents, projected base of 70.52 million people
2015: 7,009 respondents, projected base of 69.24 million people
2016: 7,026 respondents, projected base of 69.56 million people
The survey question was phrased as follows: "According to this list, would you tell me which of these products you have at home? Product: Built-in car navigation system or portable GPS device"
(Original German question: "Könnten Sie mir nach dieser Liste hier sagen, was Sie zu Hause haben? Produkt: Festinstalliertes Navigationssystem im Auto, tragbares Navigationssystem (z.B. für Auto, Fahrrad, Wandern usw.)")
