For example the transportation of two tons of freight on a distance of 100 kilometers corresponds to 200 ton-kilometers. Likewise the transportation of five tons of freight on a distance of 40 kilometers corresponds to 200 ton-kilometers.
Excludes freight transport on Rhine and Moselle.
