The data were collected from the "Panel de consumo alimentario", a study by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food included in the National Statistical Plan and prepared from data provided by the company Taylor Nelson Sofres SAU.
Figures have been taken from previous reports published by the source.
The consumption of cheese by Spanish households amounted to *** million kilograms in 2020, an increase compared to previous years. In 2024, consumption decreased to ***Â million kilograms. Spain produces a wide range of cheeses, some with denomination of origin, and other with different specificities.
