During the survey extensive statistical analysis was conducted, trade statistics and forecasts were evaluated. Telephone interviews with leading tradespeople were conducted, as well as a representative population survey among consumers.

Figures were partly derived from previous publications.

Czechia and Ireland were among countries with the highest share of revenues coming from e-commerce. The United Kingdom, Germany and France were among the countries with the highest proportion of internet users who use online shopping.
