A study from 2025 on the music retailers in the UK showed that in 2024 only *** specialist chains were selling music. In terms of supermarkets, *** stores also had music in their product line, while *** independent stores were selling music. Compared to the previous year, this meant an increase in independent store and a decrease in supermarkets sold music.
