In 2023, tourists spent approximately 55.8 million nights at accommodation establishments in Czechia. There has been an increasing trend in overnight stays recorded at Czech accommodation establishments up until 2019. That year, 57 million nights were spent by both domestic and international tourists in travel accommodation in Czechia. This number fell to 31.4 million in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its travel restrictions, and increased only slightly in 2021 to 31.9 million nights.
