Private equity activity in the United States is expected to be challenging throughout 2024, but some industries might be better off than others. According to a survey conducted among PE firms in the U.S., 60 percent of respondents expect a positive impact of global trade tensions for the aerospace and defense sector. On the other hand, 80 percent of respondents expect a negative impact for the consumer sector.
